This is the Ruger GP-100. It's a 6-shot revolver with a 4" barrel, chambered in .357 Magnum. It was the first "modern" handgun that caught my eye many years ago. It has the standard double action/single action  trigger. The SA is very smooth. It came with the factory rosewood and rubber grips -- but a set of Hogue finger-groove grips  makes it look even more "evil". It makes a nice compliment to the semi-auto pistols in my collection.

08 Apr: I got to take the GP-100 to the range today. The feel of that trigger is definitely different from the semi-autos! I need to work on my control a bit -- but not a bad first time out!
